There are two different ways we generate income at Freight OS. The first way is basically the standard brokers fee way where we operate on a straightforward margin model:
we quote you a price for your shipment, book a qualified carrier at
our negotiated rate, and keep the difference as our service
fee.
The second way is through our "white label" Freight Department In A Box software stack system. This way we have a 5 tier system depending on how much freight you run per month. All but one of these tiers completely does away with the brokers fee that can be upwards of 35% of a load. So you can see some huge cost savings going this route. However this way there is a one time set-up fee along with a monthly fee that covers the maintenance of all the automations to keep everything running smooth as well as the consultant fees to keep your team up to date and qualified to run our system. Even with the highest tier you are still saving your company 40% to 70% by running our system instead of hiring a full logistics staff.
